Our Mission (if we choose to accept it)

We are curious how communication via technology effects relationships with others compared to everyday face-to-face communication. We have explored this by conducting a survey of 25 people asking what percent of their communication is done by a given method. Various opinions have been taken on the issue. Some believe that technology has made communication easier and that it improves relationships while others believe that there is something missing in technological forms of communication and that it actually hurts relationships. Sadly, there are also people that are apathetic about this topic and don't fully consider the implications it has for our society.
From our survey, we can tell that this issue is very important in our society today. Technological communication is rapidly increasing, and in some cases it is overtaking communication face-to-face. We must consider how this is affecting our society.
